This pattern is simplistic which makes is a great pattern to use that really awesome single skein of yarn that deserves to be showcased.  Add coordinating beads to incorporate a little sparkle, or go with contrasting beads to really draw attention to this boomerang shawl.  The I-Cord edges provide a clean finish, and help to stabilize the fabric so that it maintains its shape.
